The Buku-Larrnggay Mulka Art Centre is in Yirrkala at the north-eastern tip of the Top End of the Northern Territory approximately 700 kilometers east of Darwin.

The community is renowned for their bark painting and hollow logs painted with earth pigments . Several major prizes have been won by artists in this community.

Artists such as Gunybi Ganambarr and Wlitjwilitj Dhamarrandji and Manman Wirrpanda represent the wavy lines of the water and the fish and animal life found from the sea side to the river.
