Wilfred Jupurrurla Nelson Wilfred Jupurrurla Nelson was born in Yuendumu in the Northern Territory. His dreamings include Ngapa (rain), Marlu (kangaroo), Janganpa (possum) and Yarla (bush carrot). He has been painting for a number of years and is regarded as an artist on the rise His work has been exhibited in Perth, Adelaide and Melbourne. The Pwerle Men artists from Utopiia began painting in 2005, having been inspired by the great success of the women artists of Utopia. |
